Collaboratively chosen by our team, Tantus believes in supporting one of our city’s most vulnerable populations: children. Our community investment initiatives are designed to support children-related non-profit organizations in the Edmonton Area.

Zebra Child Protection Services
To kick off summer, Tantus hosted a barbeque for staff and clients on May 4, 2018. We took advantage of our new patio space to bring out the grill and welcome in the nice weather! As a part of our ongoing commitment to the Zebra Centre in Edmonton, we used the barbeque to conduct a toy/gift drive for the Centre’s toy closet. Every child involved with Zebra chooses a gift from the toy closet and Zebra also provides backpacks, clothing and toiletries to kids as needed. Leading up to the barbeque, Tantus staff were gathering up toys, toiletries and other gifts to fill up Zebra’s toy closet. A huge thank you goes out to our clients and staff that attended the BBQ and generously donated items to this worthy cause.
Kids with Cancer Society
Once again Tantus has teamed up with partners from Solut (previously SNS), and Merit Contractors Association to host our Third Annual golf tournament with all proceeds this year going to Kids with Cancer society. The event was held at The Links in Spruce Grove on June 4, 2019. Tantus Solutions Group, Solut and Merit were all on hand for the Presentation on October 22, 2019. We were proud to present $14,505.64 to Kids with Cancer Society. A big thank you to everyone involved in making this happen!
JCI Holiday Hamper Delivery
For the fourth year in a row, Tantus employees committed to providing hampers for three large Edmonton families (9+ family members) in need this holiday season. These families consisted of children ranging in age from 4 to 17 years old. The employee contribution was overwhelmingly generous. Employees filled the hampers with food items for holiday celebrations, gifts for each child and day to day staples (along with a few special extras, such as family games, gift cards and household supplies).
Community Consulting Program
Through our Community Investment Consulting Program, we provide consulting services, free of charge or at a nominal fee, to small local charities/non-profit organizations within Edmonton and surrounding area.
