City of Fort Saskatchewan
Project Summary
Tantus partnered with the City of Fort Saskatchewan to strengthen its cybersecurity governance, resilience, and long-term risk management capabilities. Working closely with City leadership, Tantus conducted a comprehensive cybersecurity assessment using the CIS Critical Security Controls framework, providing a structured, risk-based evaluation of the City’s current posture and priorities. The Assessment informed a three-year cybersecurity roadmap that aligned governance, controls, and investment planning with the City’s operational and regulatory context. Building on this foundation, Tantus developed a suite of core cybersecurity and resilience deliverables - including a disaster recovery plan, cybersecurity incident response plan, scenario-based executive tabletop exercise, and consolidated cybersecurity policy framework – enabling the City to improve preparedness, clarify decision making, and strengthen its ability to respond to and recover from cyber incidents.
